Fashion Designer (m/f/d) – frapp

part-time or full-time​​

 

Your Responsibilities:

 

• You’ll work with the product management team to develop the frapp brand’s collections—from the initial idea through the first prototype to production approval.

• Through regular trend research and competitor analyses, you’ll know exactly what our target audience wants and stay abreast of global textile trends.

• You’ll kick off the season with research trips and trade show visits.

• You’ll develop creative and commercially successful styles, color palettes, prints, and collection themes.

• You’ll create sketches and refine the designs down to the finest details.

• You’ll always keep our target customer and her needs in mind, developing modern, wearable fashion with an optimal fit.

• You’ll contribute to the selection and development of fabrics, materials, colors, and details.

• You work closely with our garment engineering and product development teams

• You coordinate regularly with our international suppliers and oversee the implementation of the collection

• You participate in sample and production fittings and contribute your design and fashion expertise to optimizing the styles

• You ensure that the collection bears a cohesive, modern, and unmistakable frapp signature

Your Profile:

 

• A successfully completed degree with a focus on fashion design or comparable training

• Several years of or substantial professional experience in fashion design, ideally in women’s fashion and/or plus-size fashion

• A keen sense of current trends, colors, materials, silhouettes, and fashion developments

• You understand how to translate international trends into wearable and commercially successful collections

• Creativity, initiative, and a passion for contributing new ideas and fashion-forward concepts

• Proficiency in standard MS Office applications

• A structured, reliable, and solution-oriented approach to work

• Strong communication skills and a passion for collaborating with design, technical, and international suppliers

• Good written and spoken English skills are desirable

• Team spirit, dedication, and an open, confident demeanor
